After years of dormancy, it seems that Suzuki is being reborn in the Hall of Cologne.

High-performance brakes and Antilock Braking System (ABS):
ABS helps the driver stay in control. The system will monitor wheel speeds 50 times per rotation, so as to equalize the braking power to available traction. The ABS control unit has a compact, lightweight design that helps the bike is very agile.
The GSX-S1000 has the same Brembo monoblock calipers, as the current GSX-R1000. The calipers each have four 32 mm opposed pistons acting on a 310mm disc for strong braking power.
